During a routine oil change, I was told my engine leaked. I scheduled a diagnostic test for the following week when I could get in. I have a warranty from when I purchased the car, so I was hopeful that the warranty would cover the diagnostic test and the repair. It took a few days, but Brandon could get it covered under warranty and get me by car back when I needed it. I purchased my vehicle in 2019 and have completed all my service and work at this shop. I am pleased with the people who work there and the services they provide.

We reached out to our salesman, Rusty, a couple months ago as we started contemplating our next purchase. He was very patient and when we were ready to pull the trigger he was very professional, efficient and made the transaction seamless. We called him from our winter home in Scottsdale to select the new 2025 Yukon XL Denali we wanted and told him we were only going to be back in Minnesota for one day before heading out of town on a trip. He had the car inside (out of the cold) for us to inspect before we signed the papers. He also arranged to have the vehicle shipped to our home in Arizona on the day we requested. Communication was sub par at best. I’d have to follow up to get any updates. Time was longer than expected. When I’d inquire about timing of completion, response was “maybe tomorrow” and then I had to follow up 2 days later. Have an extended warranty that I purchased for $3,300 that was a lupient wrap around warranty that I didn’t fully understand. No loaner vehicles were available (for the 3 weeks my Yukon was in the shop). Service advisor recommended to rent a car from enterprise or hertz. Issue was the engine lifters for the second time!! First time was at 34,000 miles. Now I have 66,000 miles and outside standard factory warranty. Had to prove all oil changes for extended warranty to cover most (not all) of the cost. GM (from tons of blogs) has a known lifter issue yet no one will admit to it.

I brought my car in leaking oil but upon inspection a few different things needed fixing. Working with Tim and gave him my extended warranty information. First thing, they gave me a ride home with the shuttle service..nice! Tim let me know how much the warranty would pay and how much I would be responsible for so no surprises..nice! After a couple days Tim let me know the car was ready and had the shuttle pick me up...nice! I had nothing but a good experience with this dealership and Tim was great to work with and to the guy that fixed all the stuff wrong with my car..a big thank you! It runs like a charm.

The Lupient service team exceeded my expectations with its service. This visit was to install and program a new SD Card for the navigation system. Because this was a quick issue I was able to come in at my convenience for both the diagnosis of the issue and the subsequent replacement of the defective card. This was done at no cost due to the extended warranty that I had purchased when buying the vehicle.

The service team's computers are SUPER slow. It took 15 minutes for them to login. Further it took 90-minutes for an oil change and drive train lube, and other 10-minutes to pay the bill. Finally the tech didn't remove the old sticker on the windshield, he/she just added anther one next to it...and didn't wash the truck. I'll be looking for a new GMC dealer to service my truck and Terrain.

I brought my car in at 7am to have the rocker arm oil control valve fixed. I had gotten a shuttle back to my apartment and was told I would be picked up after it was fixed. I received a message from their team late in the day highlighting suggested fixes including what I brought it in for. After I confirmed what I'd like serviced, I did not receive a confirmation from the team, nor did I receive any update before the end of the day. I did receive a message at 7am the next day saying "we will get it back to you today". I messaged at 2pm asking for a status update. I got "checking with the tech now" followed by "finishing now, will be ready around 4pm". I asked for a shuttle and got a "can pick up until 6pm". So, I asked at 3:20pm to get a shuttle and received no message back. I didn't even get a message when my car was finished. I called an Uber at 4:45pm to bring me to Jim's Lupient Buick GMC to pick up my car since I needed it to be somewhere by 6pm. My car took 2 full days to complete which is not acceptable. I could have overlooked that if I had gotten prompt updates and at the very least, a shuttle back as was agreed upon after I dropped my vehicle off.

The services that I requested were performed as expected. One red flag - the tech noted that I needed a fuel injection service as I had a lot of carbon & buildup. However, I just had this service completed last month. When I called in, the rep said that the mechanic didn't read the history correctly. OK but does that mean that the tech was not telling the truth about actually checking and finding a lot of carbon & buildup rather it is just something they say if they don't see the fuel injection service in the history? Doesn't build confidence certainly.

After doing research and test driving a few vehicles, I was set on the Envision. I was actually doing business with Walser Buick in Roseville MN. I had set up an appointment for 2pm on that Monday as they were bringing in one from their other dealership. I arrived on time after confirming that appointment. My salesperson was with another customer and I was told by someone else that the vehicle had been sold over the weekend. My salesperson came over to me and said he was just finishing up and would be with me shortly. In the meantime, I looked online and saw Lupient had one that matched what I was looking for. I messaged them and they responded promptly. I waited for close to 40+ mins for my salesperson at Walser. After that I just got up and left. Went to Lupient and was treated as a valuable customer. My salesperson (Jeloni) was waiting for me when I arrived. We took it for a test drive and I knew it was my vehicle! Jeloni looked into every available incentive and got me an extra $1000 off. He was so knowledgeable and offered me great customer service. I actually got a better deal than at Walsers! Very happy with Lupient Buick.

I went in for routine service, but mentioned to Ryan, my Service Advisor, a noise I was hearing on acceleration. It turned out to be an exhaust system problem for which Ryan said I should take the car to a shop that specializes in exhaust system repairs, as Lupient doesn’t have the equipment to make the necessary repair. He and another Service Advisor, Lauren, helped me locate a reputable exhaust system repair shop nearby, which ended up being able to replace the flex pipe that same afternoon!

My son's Buick's battery wasn't working so Buick Roadside towed it to Lupient. I chose Lupient because it was the closest dealership to my house. I had not been to the dealership before but figured it was the best choice. I called no less than 5 times to alert them it was on the way and could only get a recording saying I would be called back. I then went through the sales department to get someone on the phone. The sales lady said she would try to get someone for me but was not friendly or promising. I was forwarded to a voice recording and was prompted again to use text vs speaking with someone. I wrote a message explaining why my son's car was being delivered there and received nothing back. Finally, the next day, I was told they couldn't start on my car because they didn't have any information on my account. I said this is why I tried multiple times to talk to someone. My car was then in the system so they could start on it and I was told I would be called when it was finished. Rather I followed the link that shared the progress so called when it said it was finished. I never received a text or call. I was told it was done and I could come in. When we went to retrieve it, we were given the keys and vague directions to where the car was located. The service from start to finish was mediocre at best. I think your automated system has the potential of being state of the art. However, when it says that it notices you've called multiple times and your number is being put on high priority for a call back, schedule a call back. Also, when you are told text is the fastest form of communication, have your advisors actually text the clients.

I feel like I have to push harder than I want to for service to honor the extended warranty or extended service insurance policy, whatever it's called. I feel bad for the guys working the service desk because I assume they're trying but they seem busy and I don't get many updates on my vehicle ETA unless I reach out. They don't seem to have time to help beyond answer quick questions. The last time I had it in I dropped it off on a wednesday as I left for a work trip and assumed it would be done when I returned, but it ended up taking over a week to diagnose, first it was nothing, then it was a multi day job with infrequent status updates that I had to request each day hoping to have a vehicle back so I didn't have a rent one, but if I would have known it was going to take a week I would have. BMW has sent me home in new vehicles multiple times, and I know this isn't BMW but it really takes a toll on my family during the holidays to not have a big SUV and not know when it will be done. I was asked to retrieve every service record ever on the vehicle, then the claim was denied and then I had to push harder than I was comfortable to try to get it covered. I ended up having to pay and uber driver to take me to the other GMC dealer to hand print our copies and manually scan them in and send them, and then pay Uber to drive me home. I am so shocked that GMC can't call GMC and just send them, instead I had to leave work while trying to interview and hire 2 jobs during the busiest time of the year with no car. I don't know why it feels like I was begging to get service done under the warranty. Even when the passenger running board had closed on my 6yo daughters foot and I was really concerned, the guy working the desk was very matter of fact and they said it wasn't a warranty service yet and said it was my fault for not telling them to lubricate them when they change the oil as this is common, but if it's common wouldn't this be standard operating procedure? We had the same issue again where it closed on my wife's foot and it wasn't covered, they just lubricated it and manually forced it down and said it worked, it wasn't until the 3rd or 4th time that they finally agreed to try to get it replaced and covered. I don't know if they are incentivized not to submit these claims because they are underwritten by the dealership, but it sure feels like it and I don't like that feeling. It didn't feel like along the way of service was helping me with the warranty, numerous times I had to go back to sales to get the details for them, nobody was telling me that not replacing spark plugs as requested would lead to denied claims. Nobody let me know that I needed every single service record for them to submit a claim, otherwise I would just stuff them in the glove box. I don't like to complain, I don't like sending this, and I feel like service is a little better than 5 years ago when I had my old Yukon, but I really want to like this dealership better. I think you have a great selection of cars, but I am really hesitant to buy a new vehicle at Lupient given this and several other issues. It's also frustrating living 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic and the dealership insisting on service being done at their dealership, despite doing little to make this a pleasant experience. Maybe it's just a dealership better for locals or maybe I am doing it wrong? I live a similar distance from BMW for my wife's car and I have not had similar issues. Trying to be constructive, their biggest differentiator are options for demo vehicles, loaners, service pickup, and just in general it feels like their service folks are trying to help you. Even if it was a package you offered for premium vehicles, extended warranties, or the first couple years of owning a vehicle? Even buying here is hard when a family doesn't live right in SLP, since I need my wife to like the vehicle too she can't just swing by. Between her work two kids sports, a test drive takes like 2-3 hours out of a weekend saturday and she doesn't enjoy the process. If there was a clever way to get a demo as a loaner that would have helped a lot, I requested it but it seemed like this just annoying people and that wasn't my goal, I was just trying to get her a new vehicle if there were any holiday specials or in the new year. Worst case we keep the truck for a while longer and I get a new car? I'm just dissappointed, I wish it was better, I had a really hard week without a vehicle, late updates, non-specific updates or ETA.

The wait for my car to get in was longer than expected. I had a 9 o’clock appointment and I really thought that meant they would get to my car at or close to nine and then instead it was closer to 930. However, they were very nice and kept me updated on what was happening BUT I am disgusted and appalled at a 3% service charge for using a credit Yes, I’m aware that there is a fee usually absorbed by the one providing the service and I wouldn’t even object to a smaller fee, but it’s outrageous considering what you charge for your services It’s one thing if a restaurant does it rather than raise their prices but it’s absolutely unacceptable for a dealership that charges how much an hour? It just makes you seem cheap and greedy

Upon arrival the first words from an employee were “Do you have an appointment” The service adivisors, LaurenLambert, walked by me twice with I pad in hand with no acknowledgment. Her first words to me were “do you have an appointment” a far stretch from good morning. After having my oil changed I walked into the room to hear Lauren say to her co worker while looking at her computer screen “let me take care of THIS GUY” told me my total handed me card swipe gave me my paperwork and told me your car is outside.
