In recent years, Buick has revolutionized the way many look for sophistication and refinement in the SUV class. As one of the four brands that make up General Motors, Buick is offering drivers a means to get behind the wheel of an SUV that offers the luxurious amenities commonly associated with Cadillac but with the affordable pricing of Chevy. Here at Lupient Buick GMC, the premier local Buick dealer, we’re always excited about the innovations and designs that Buick continues to offer each year and even more excited about sharing the information with you.

Of all the offerings that Buick has in store for the 2025 model year, the Envision has captured our collective excitement and attention. The Envision is another fine example of Buick placing luxury into the hands of its customers for a lower cost and equipping the vehicle with a wide array of items. The Envision comes in three trims, and we’re here to explore each one to assist you in choosing which one works best for you.

2025 Buick Envision Preferred

An advantage of the 2025 Buick Envision is that many items that grace the Preferred trim can be found across the board, ensuring drivers have access to the best that Buick offers. The 2025 Buick Envision is equipped with a sole powertrain that consists of a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Buick pairs it with a nine-speed automatic transmission for enhanced performance on the road. The Envision is also capable of light off-roading thanks to its standard AWD drivetrain. While Buick has placed a decent amount of emphasis on luxury and performance with the Envision, it’s also an economical vehicle, offering drivers 22 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway.

All trims of the Buick Envision are equipped with a 30-inch screen, the largest in its class, that combines driver information and infotainment, complete with Google built-in. The screen also provides wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless charging for mobile devices. All trims of the Envision, including the Preferred, have a nine-speaker stereo system from Bose and make use of Buick’s QuietTuning technology and active noise cancellation to ensure a comfortable ride.

Besides its dedication to luxury, there are also the pragmatic items many drivers look for in an SUV. The Envision is equipped with many standard safety features such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Pedestrian alert, and advanced items such as Intersection and Rear Cross Traffic Braking for more protection and oversight than other vehicles in its class. The comfort and practicality of the Envision are joined by over 52 cu.ft. of available storage space.

In recent years, luxury for less has been the driving point behind Buick’s SUV fleet. The Preferred trim provides access to performance for the road ahead and multiple technologies meant to enhance information, entertainment, and safety while being easily affordable.

2025 Buick Envision Sport Touring

The middle ground between the base Preferred trim and the top-tier Avenir is the Sport Touring version of the Buick Envision. The Sport Touring has multiple trim-exclusive accessories that highlight its exterior design and build on the interior features to enhance sophistication and refinement. The Sport Touring is a nice upgrade from the Preferred and is ideal for drivers who want just a little bit more in what they drive.

The Sport Touring trim features some exclusive items that highlight the exterior design, like 20-inch Carbon Flash Metallic alloy wheels and black roof rails, which are ideal for the driver who enjoys partaking in recreational activities. The interior of the Sport Touring is geared for drivers who favor a performance-oriented experience behind the wheel. Exclusive to the trim are alloy sport pedals and a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel. Some of the items available that are exclusive to the trim include ebony interior accents and leather-appointed seat trim to enhance the sophisticated feel of the Envision further.

The Sport Touring and Preferred trim have access to the Comfort and Convenience Package. We recommend this upgrade for drivers who are looking to enhance the sophisticated interior of the Envision further. The Comfort and Convenience Package comes with dual-zone automatic climate control and an in-vehicle air quality indication system. To further enhance comfort, heated driver and front passenger seats with a heated steering wheel are included. Having a convenient commute means access to more, which the package provides with a universal home remote and a hands-free power liftgate, making loading and unloading easy.

The Sport Touring version of the Buick Envista embodies the SUV’s sophistication and refinement while also incorporating features that enhance the presentation. It’s the ideal compromise between the affordable Preferred trim and the high-end Avenir.

2025 Buick Envision Avenir

All trims of the 2025 Buick Envision offer a wide array of luxurious amenities for you to take full advantage of when you’re behind the wheel. The Avenir is the top-tier of the Envision and is packed with a host of standard items that embody the very best of Buick’s luxury-appointed SUV. Every inch of the vehicle from the ground up has multiple trim-exclusive and standard items that make it stand out among the other trims of the 2025 Envision.

All versions of the Envision are equipped with the same powertrain for optimum performance, but only the Avenir comes with Continuous Dampening Control. This technology relies on sensors to collect data based on whatever road conditions you might be traveling on. Adjustments are then automatically made to ensure a smooth and comfortable ride. The Avenir sits on a trim-exclusive set of 20-inch wheels with a pearl-nickel finish, and its exterior is further enhanced with a panoramic moonroof and a hands-free power liftgate, both of which are standard.

The features available on the Preferred and Sport Touring trims come standard on the Avenir, such as dual-zone climate control, air quality indication, heated front and passenger seats, a heated steering wheel, and a universal home remote. Besides these, the Avenir has multiple trim-exclusive items, such as a massaging driver’s seat, ventilated seating for the driver and front passenger, and heated rear passenger seats. The Avenir is also the only trim with an 8-way power front passenger seat and a 110-volt power outlet to facilitate the use of other devices, such as laptops.

The Avenir trim is the perfect example of sophistication and performance merging together in one convenient package. For those who want the epitome of luxury and the very best of what Buick offers, there’s no better option than the Avenir.
